Empire strikes back

This is the mind blowing view of downtown from the top of the Empire State Building. In the distance you can see freedom tower under construction. After a trip round Macy's we walked down past the flat iron building, through Greenwich Village.....East village (with a stop in Katz's deli!....little Italy & china town....right down to battery park to get the Staten Island ferry.
Brilliant.....but quite tiring way to get a feel for the place!
