At Breaker Bay...

Most of the day was bright and sunny but the heat was stifling, particularly in the Camp away from any cooling sea breezes. Rachel went paddle-boarding this morning. She was up on her feet and paddling like a pro in no time at all. She went swimming later and then this afternoon we walked over to Breaker Bay where there was a cooling breeze. Alex and Hannah biked from Marahau to join us. There were good waves at the Bay and youngsters were scrambling up on the rocks on the bluff to jump into the sea below. Rachel left for home around 5.pm. I’ll miss her. However son Duncan has come from Nelson to stay here for the night. It’s been a busy day.
