The sap is rising.

A most beautiful morning. Cloudless sky, 10C. and still air. Back to RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss.

Plenty of birds to photograph. Nuthatch, Marsh Tits, Teal, Egrets and more.

But my eye was taken by the colour of this Crack Willow growing in the reed beds. As the sap rises it takes on this glowing red. A fine sight.
