Burns night

So this is the table set in the village hall for burns night. I was tasked with doing the mashed potato, for which I thought I had made enough, but it turned out to be way too much so I'll be making a shed load of tattie scones with the left overs. Today I fixed the chicken shed door and cleaned it out too, hopefully now it's a bit cosier, the rest of the hens will start laying, though saying that , I don't need anymore at the mo' but I would like the lovely hens to be in happy laying mode by March when the B&B guests start arriving.
Tomorrow the painting starts and the bathroom is getting done first, this will be an interim measure until I get a new bathroom sorted out but it's getting a bit grotty and a coat of paint will make it look lully for now.
