Witch Hazel

Very slowly, this shrub is beginning to develop in the corner of our garden.  I rescued it - probably in 2012, from a spot in Dad's garden where it was growing below another shrub.  This rust-red flower doesn't show very well in the corner so I thought I'd trim off one of its forward facing shoots to create a still life.  The backdrop is a curtain (that I've never got around to replacing) and I think I might try it again tomorrow with something a little plainer. 

Haircut this afternoon and I was trying to back up some camera club images this morning.  I have succeeded but not on the drive I was trying to use!
