Long & Winding Road

Another busy day ... C picked Z up just after 10 & we entertained & fed him til just after lunch when we dropped him back at N & R's. From here drove to Maids Moreton to see my cousin who has Motor neurone disease. She has deteriorated since I saw her just before Christmas. She can not move her limbs and she struggles to speak and it is difficult to drink & swallow....it was difficult to chat but we did manage to make her laugh a few times but she also sobbed at one point & C cuddled her & made her feel better....Its so hard seeing her like this & there is not a damned thing anyone can do about it..Today she looked like an old lady & not the 50 something girl who I've known all my life.... We had tea and she was tired out after 90 minutes so we left her & her Mum to relax and get ready for the carers who come in morning noon & night...

C had got a card that needed posting so we drove through Buckingham town centre & found a late collection post box. Then we headed for home. We were almost there when I diverted up to a small village called Aston Abbots. I knew I could get a picture from the top of the hill & C is going on a course tomorrow morning involving Alpaca wool so needed to know where it was. That found we went home..

Mild day

Another busy day tomorrow - we have a decorator coming to decorate our bedroom on Monday & I need to start shifting some stuff out of the way....
