Springlike

It might still be January, but what a lovely day its been!

Firstly for those interested, we came second in the quiz last night.....not bad, two firsts and a second in the last three :-)

We both had a reasonably good night last night, managed to stay in the same bed all night ;-) Think I am almost there, hub a few days behind, but on the mend now.

We fancied a walk as it was so nice out, so off into town, a longer route, coffee a d lunch in Reds as usual, then a walk up to one of the churches in search of todays blip......the. a prolo ged walk back too, clocked up best part of 10,000 steps in the process. I also snapped a few things in the garden as its flower Friday.

As you can see this plump magnolia bud won the day.....with the sunshine glistening off its furry coat dor todays Bikerbear challenge.

This afternoon has been spent preparing something for tomorrow evening, as we have friends coming for dinner. Hub did some leaf clearing up in the garden whilst I was in the kitchen.

We were still full from lunch, so its been just a snack this evening, whilst watching my team on TV.......hope they dont slip up, would be very embarrassing ;-) although we have just scored as I am typing this :-) so hopefully not!
