The Creek

I'm getting in the habit of snapping a photo of the creek behind the house every morning. If I remember soon enough I get some nice reflections of the sky in the water - nicer still if there's some color in the sky. Today however, I forgot until almost 7:45. You can see that the sun is just peeking up above the trees and whatnot over on the right. We never see a *real* sunrise because we can't see the horizon in any meaningful way. Some mornings are prettier than others, though.

I think of the morning creek shot as my fallback if I never take another decent photo all day. That's pretty much what happened today.
