Quiet day at the market
Usually at 2.00pm on a Saturday Tynemouth Station Market is heaving....but whether it was the weather or maybe just the time of year, stalls were already starting to pack up for the day. But I got a few bargains, an old necklace (with a metal chain that'll probably give me a flare-up of excema on the back of my neck....but hey, it was only a pound!), a WD & HO Wills cigarette card album ("The Sea-Shore", 1938, a complete set and speckled with age...£4) and a truly ugly vase for £2 (I felt sorry for the stallholder, he looked frozen half to death!)
