Two food blips in a row

SweetArt has been busy ... and a little sad today.

Jon left very early and I thought I’d be okay, but had many tears when I saw him off at the bus stop. Martin took him to the airport. I came home and contemplated life and prepared for worship practice. I thought this saying goodbye stuff would get easier. But I think the biggest thing for me at the moment is not being with him when he turns 21 in two weeks :(. But it’s okay, I wasn’t with my parents when I turned 21 either, but I was with Gadgetkid and I know Ben will be with him. So I shall find comfort in that.

Had practice, then baked, then went for a meeting, then dinner and finally finished this cake around 9pm. Cake with a side order of scones, to be picked up first thing tomorrow morning.

And Elizabeth and Roberto dropped in for dinner, which was very pleasant and very needed to cheer us up.
