Early lambs

First lambs of the season! iPhone shot from the car window on the lane near home as we returned from our shopping trip to Ulverston. Weather as you can probably tell was rather inclement. There were quite a few of them and they were very small but being white means they are not Herdies. Herdwick lambs don't arrive until late March or even April. It is the village Burn's Night supper this evening so am looking forward to that.
