Another bad day at the office

Mixed emotions today as we left the ground after another defeat. The day had started somewhat quiet as we held a minute’s silence for our chairman and owner, who saved the club 14 years ago having died of cancer last week. Much respect from the crowd both home and away. Scintillating first half in which we took the lead, well deserved and then our right back had a moment on insanity and we were down to 10 men.

The second half was mainly a survival operation as they ewaulised quickly. We appeared to have achieved this when we gave away 2 goals to lose. Funny old game football. RIP Patrick Cryne, Barnsley FC, man and boy, as we all agreed ‘one of our own’.
