Mail-grab

The Royal Mail train steaming past Quorn station demonstrating a mail grab at Loughborough Great Central Railway today.  This is perhaps the best view that I suspect anyone actually had through the steam and rain.  If you look closely I think I have captured it just a second before the grab itself.

A day out and about on dad's birthday weekend.  A bit dreich as the front(s) passed over but we made the best of it.  We retired for lunch in the pub for a particularly fine view of the railway ... conveniently next to a radiator :-)
