Grey day

Guernsey has put on an unbeatable display of drizzle, mist, fog and general murkiness today. Harry played football and was soaked by the fine rain. I watched and I could feel the raindrops collecting on my eyelashes.
In musical news, Charlie’s first gig last night was a huge success. They’ve been asked to play at two more venues in the summer. The man who organises the ‘Sound’ events for under 18s, told them that he’d never seen such a brilliant debut performance before. Charlie was buzzing when he got home at nearly midnight. And he couldn’t sleep until 2.30am! Consequently, we had a slow morning!
