I went into town with these monkeys today - we went our separate ways when we arrived and mooched around the shops for a few hours. it was nice.

then home for tea and telly and paint. at some point I’m hoping my husband might return from his purple haze pain free - fingers crossed this week. it’s very weird him being so out of action for this long and the longer the meds go on, the more out of action he is. beth said he was talking in his sleep to dougal about being racist this afternoon...and he wondered if we’d had g’s birthday yet this morning. it’s not good.

beth’s away for a sleepover in rothie, bag clinking on the way out the door. daisy has tess and poppy over for a sleepover - daisy had drawn a really crap ouija board so I doubt that worked. that’s a real rite of passage eh? and poor peggo has spent the day with her dad and coloured in an old tshirt. I’ll need to do something with her tomorrow to make up for that...
