Sweating for Jesus

Bishop Andrew Curnow came to preach at our Australia Day service today.  His sermon was excellent, but it was hot, hot, hot!  We sweated for Jesus in our robes!

Then we had a lovely Australia Day lunch.  There was tons and tons of food (had to have a photo of the pav.  There is a long standing dispute with our cousins over the pond about which country invented the pavlova!)  But it was hot and sticky in the hall. The temp is now in the high 30s (but feels in the 40s). With still another service to go in the hottest part of the day *sob*.
