Hole in the fence gang

A miserable day today, low cloud and drizzle. Not having been out further than the car - I noticed that a front tyre was flat this morning, the first puncture in many years! - I followed Rosie about in the hope that she would do something interesting! 

Well she didn't, apart from standing in front of this hole and looking though. When I replaced all the twiggy infill on the sides of our deck with split bamboo last year I realised that I had denied access to the cats, who used to jump down into next door's bracken and do who knows what. I had to cut a hole out so now they can get through. It would have been better to have caught a little face peering through, but I would have to camp out on the other side before they posed for me!
