Afternoon on Old Oswestry Hillfort

This afternoon I went for a walk up Old Oswestry Hillfort, an important iron Age settlement. For those that have followed my journal for a long time we're still fighting plans to build on land below it my blip of a protest is here from three years ago. 

It was VERY windy up there as it really blows over the top and I doubted being able to get a non blurred shot as I was buffeted by the wind.

When I was almost back to the car park the late afternoon light was beautiful and I got this photo of the Hillfort bathed in sunshine against the dark sky.
