Waiting for the bus

The sun came back today and gorgeous blue skies too! That's so lovely for all those people who have to work during the week.

I walked down to the park to see if there were signs of crocus, but it's still a little early. There are just tiny shoots!

I walked a good part of the way home and then took the bus back up the steepest part. I saw this scene above as I sat on the bench. It's Lausanne Cathedral, looking very grand against the blue sky. The overhead lines are those of the trolley bus. What a beautiful day and a friend came to lunch and joined me on my walk before going home.
