Unexpected

I emptied some containers at the back of the garden and out tumbled this caterpillar. I think it may be the caterpillar of a small white butterfly, but I'm not completely convinced. It's a little late in the year for him to be out and about and trying to turn into a butterfly. Good luck to him!
