Another entry...

...in the 100year old autograph book I have.

It appeared to belong to a girl called Olga, and was given her by Willie.

There are pages with words.
There are pages with ink drawings and pages with pencil drawings, and some pages by a small child.

So, there are drawing done by different people. Some appear to be by another member of the same family, same name but different initials. Some have been drawn by ship’s Captains. Others by pilots of lifeboats. Some are just initialled. Some are from members of the Shipmaster’s and Pilots club. There are a few signed by women, also with a drawing. But there are a lot of pictures of ships...

Some pictures are absolutely brilliant.

I have looked the names up online but not found anything yet.

I haven’t looked at all the entries yet. This autograph book is only partially filled in. There are many blanks pages.

The above entry was a pencil drawing of the pier.

The below link includes a few photos from the 1920’s of this same pier.

Take a look at the fourth photograph down. It is from about 1920. Would you like a ride on that...only 1d (an old penny).

I am going to have a nap, and will look in when I wake up...
