First order of the day: buy new wellies for Martin. We live on marshland so wellies are essential for doggy walks from home.

Next stop: an electric bicycle shop in Shoreham for a test ride. We were going to look at the one at Brighton Marina but decided to save that for a midweek trip to avoid weekend shoppers. Martin is thinking to replace his aged car with assisted pedal power.

Furthest destination: a layby overlooking the runway at Shoreham airport to watch the air traffic. The training flights gave us a few hair raising moments. We rejoiced in our middle aged-ness by taking a picnic to eat in the car. Our flask is stainless steel not tartan...

Home in time to knock up a curry for tea, a visit from my sister and catch up on doggy cuddles. I love Sundays.
