Big Birdwatch...
... I could have given you a supersharp robin. Which would have been a similar image to yesterday (ok, and the last few, well probably since November, days!).
By the way of a change, here’s a vague image of these two Others, who were singing away at intervals in the gloaming nearby.
I was pleased to have spotted the chaffinch (owing to the fact that I heard it before seeing it).
I had all sorts of things planned for today. Himself is still a bit off his perch, and I am weary following a strange night last night of lucid nightmares.
I shall simply say, ‘helmeted man in bee-keeper suit, rifling through wardrobe’. And ‘ emergency phone calls not being responded to’... And Freud can make of that what he will. (The helmeted man concerned me too :-/).
In the garden, in my hour of watching, there were 2 coal tits, 3 robin, a pair of blackbirds, a pair of great tits, a pair of chaffinch and a jackdaw (not a ‘hacksaw’, which is what spellchecker wants you to believe I saw).
Usually I see wrens and Blue tits, isn’t it typical?
