Ted Glen

I refer to one of the Canal Trust workmen as Ted because he looks like Ted Glen the handyman on Postman Pat.

"Ted Glen" was planning to put up some posts around the decking that edges one of the Caen Hill pounds. He was concerned about the sogginess of the ground and was also watching the distant black sky;  wondering if he had time to get the job done!

My walk was only wet underfoot but it has tipped down since I returned home.

The mystery of the missing Tibet book has been resolved. My MIL lent it to a neighbour. Which is what we suspected!
