Downtown Yangon.

Arrived back here today on the first leg of the journey home.The traffic is horrendous and crossing the road is dicing with death. We had a walk down to the river and noticed a lot of the old colonial buildings are crumbling but still lived in. Squalid apartments are cheek by jowl with ultra modern hotels.The back streets are teaming with tiny workshops turning out all sorts of products. Tomorrow I hope to go to the huge market in the morning, then chill by the 5th floor pool before heading to the airport to fly to Bangkok and on to London. Be glad to get that journey over with.
