Remembrance

In Iceland there is a lovely tradition, that throughout Dec and Jan people pay to have these LED light crosses on their loved ones grave. These are the darkest months and it feel very warm and comforting to see them, even in the snow!
Relaxing day with my dad and sister. Langoustines for dinner, yum, then a late night run to the ice cream parlour for pudding, second yum; I shan't lose any weight here, that's for sure. Another thing to love about Iceland: the ice cream shop is open to 11pm and does a roaring trade throughout the year.
