Climbing through bushes

I've never seen the herons climbing through the bushes looking for bugs.
I was sitting on the back porch and saw him hop into the ligustrum hedge down by the lake. Even through the screen, it was quite a sight. I knew if I opened the door he would be off. It was a wonderful way to start the day.
