Slow boat

When we children were learning to waterski a year or two earlier, the company speedboat managed OK. It was a very heavy wooden boat with a just powerful enough outboard.

It could even manage towing two of us but as we grew it was getting increasingly difficult, When we started mono-skiing (one ski) we had to start on two and once gliding could then kick off one ski.

However to start on a mono-ski was too much and at some point, a second motor was added.
