Sampler

Sowing again all day today so I need a different picture. Don’t want this to be too boring. So here’s my millennium sampler I bought in 1999 with the target of finishing by the millennium. It actually took me a number of years to finish with long breaks in between. There was always something to stop me sewing. Too busy ,dirty hands from work, winter days too dull to see. All kinds of things, until I made an enormous effort and finished it a few years ago. It cost an arm and a leg to have it framed but I am really pleased with it and it’s hanging on the wall.
