It will soon be February, my least favourite month.  I am sure we could do a redistribution and just have 11 months with 33 days each leaving February with only 2 (3 in a leap year).  That might help.  There are other priorities around so it is unlikely that we will get away; Feb will have to be endured at home.  I shall look upon that as an opportunity.  Not sure what for but I will be ready.
Meantime, the iris reticulate Katharine Hodgkin, has started to flower.  It is very welcome.
