The bins

Today our garbage bins were ‘chipped’. That is: a chip was added to the container so that it can be recognized by the garbage truck. Even though authorities have not said so, it is assumed by most that the current flat rate for waste disposal is going to be replaced by a ‘pay per use’ scheme. I think that can be considered fair as long as the average household still pays about the same...
