Tinkling the Ivories

All the schools in Linton were closed today which was lovely as it felt like a bank holiday (although D had to go to work).
Poppy had her friend here so we went over to Saffron Walden, had a coffee ( or weird, creamy, fruity drink if you're 12 years old) and a bit of shopping in preparation for Poppy's ski trip.

I had a bit of preparation to do for dinner as the Priors came over so I made a huge chilli and a polenta cake for pudding.

We had  a lovely dinner and made exciting, preliminary plans for several holidays this year. Exciting times ahead!
