Mummy Muntjac

I spotted this muntjac in Butterfly Alley this afternoon. She saw me and turned and is about to jump over the wall through a missing pane of glass into number 8 disused glasshouse. Her teats can be seen so maybe she has a kid in there. (I'd love to see and photograph a kid.) These deer don't have a rutting season and can breed all year round. 

Winterwatch opened with footage of a pair of muntjacs. I've heard them bark but have never heard the strange vocalisations that the pair on the TV made.
