In the Village

I went over to Meg today to see my parents. It was drizzling a bit when I left the house, and by the time I got off the train it was coming down in stair-rods!

I spent most of the day cold and wet! I went out again a little later to fetch a bit of shopping for them from the village It had pretty much stopped raining by then fortunately. This car belongs to someone who lives in the village, I've seen it around a few times, and in other guises too - the owner changes the paint job regularly. I think I've blipped it in at least one of its previous incarnations...

While I was over at my folks' I got a call from Lee asking if I'd work tonight. After all the moaning I'd done about my reduced hours I had to say Yes, even if I did have plans for pizza night with my Boys tonight. That is postponed until tomorrow, and the extra cash will help pay for the pizza. I've told Lee I can't work tomorrow, but I don't think it would be an issue anyway!
