Home brew!
Seem to have gone a little bit "Good Life" this year. Unfortunately I don't look like a young Felicity Kendall but I do appear to be making lots of things from our (not very amazing) garden and stuff picked on our walks.
Today was bottling day for our Cassis - blackcurrants from our fruit bushes. It joins some Raspberry Liqueur - rasps from garden and walks - and Sloe Gin - sloes from garden and walks. The Cassis and Raspberry Liqueur smell amazing and have a beautiful all natural colour; they just need to spend a little while maturing in their cute little bottles. The Sloe Gin still needs a few weeks before it can be bottled up in its final receptacles. I've never made any of these drinks before but I'm hoping they are going to be a success. Think we'll enjoy trying them if nothing else!
