Decoration

Today the three of us bundled into Lauren's car and drove up to Asda to buy lots of decorations for Hallowe'en. We lost ourselves in the aisles of colourful costumes, and I could have happily spent my student loan on the banners and lights.

Once we'd torn ourselves away from the store we came home and started decorating - celebrating with a shot of gin in our new plastic skull shot glasses (we've all got colds, so it was definitely medicinal).

After dinner this evening (chickpea curry, courtesy of Lauren - yum!) James came over and the four of us played cards at a round table in our warm kitchen.

A day for friends, I think.
