How's your memory?

Remember?
"Take the money"?
"Open the box!"

NOT 100% sure they're older than me, BUT I am 100% sure they weren't a Wedding present & I can't remember them not being in the house as a kid.

You may have noticed the box in the top of yesterday's cutlery cabinet.
Behold the contents.

Went looking, as you do; well as I do anyway.
One or two were in close agreement, while one premed "Fish knives" were for filleting fish.

"Having different types of cutlery and flatware for different types of food dates back to the 1850’s.
The reason as to why fish forks were designed in a certain way, the blade of the knife has a curved sharp edge, perfect for sliding between the skin and flesh of the fish. The broad blade is a useful feature as it assists in lifting the fish to the fork, whilst keeping flakes in one piece.
The blade terminates in a relatively sharp point which is useful to lift small bones away from the flesh. The wide surface may also be used to scrape up, or spread any sauce served with the fish.
Restaurants still use fish knives and forks when they are serving fillets as you said, the reason for this would mostly be tradition and expectation. When it comes to dining we have given our selves many different rules and standards. This is no different when it comes to eating fish. If you would like to learn more about the history and reasons behind Fish Knives and Fish Forks Etiquette I would recommend reading this post."
