Marina life
We both slept ok, hub was awake early, still coughing, but improving slowly.
As my photos from Manchester were not up to scratch for my homework, I had to get out for an hour today. As the sun was shining I went this morning.....hub decided to stay home, and as luck would have it daughter rang to say she was popping round
with something for her Dads dinner ;-)
After I had popped to the bakery and picked up hubs newspaper I headed to a little car park besides the canal.......couldnt believe it when I got there, completely full! That has never happened before, so after a tricky reversing manoeuvre I headed towards another one further along the canal.....only to find the main road leading to it was closed for roadworks! After a detour I found my way around to the new marina area where I wanted to be for todays blip. I had planned to walk along the canal but the footpaths were closed too! What a palaver!!
Once back home, we had a coffee and a nice peppery meat and potato pasty with red cabbage for lunch, it will be a light snack this evening as I am off to night school class.
Its currently 4.40 and still quite light :-D
It has been a chilly one today but dont mind that as long as its bright :-)
Ive managed to "cock up" my Lightroom folders.....really do need some proper 121 tuition, thats definitely my preferred method of learning. I must try and find someone who can teach me properly :-/ I have watched tutorials online, but without hands on practice it doesnt stick as much as it used to :-/
Just had a message from youngest, who is now fighting fit after his colds and ear infections, that they have exchanged contracts today, moving to their new house this Friday :-D
