Drainpipes

I popped round to a friend's house to drop off some brochures, knowing they would be out. A. had told me to go through the garden to their back door and leave the box under the canopy. 

Their house is late Georgian with an enclosed walled garden and  feels like it has been there for ever. As I walked away from the back door through a small back yard area I saw these two drainpipes attached to the wooden board and thought this would make a good blip. I liked the small plant which has established in the shaded opening of the  lower pipe.
