Ok treacle?

I’ve always called Golden Syrup, treacle and treacle, black treacle. Have I been misinformed? Treacle is a weird name anyway.
What started out as a goodish idea for stock ended up a sticky-fingered goo-dish idea before I got what I wanted. And I couldn’t resist licking the spoon. So I packed it in.
