Any closer . . .

. . . you will get wet.

That's the slogan used by one of the favourite restaurants in the Plettenberg Bay area - Restorante Enrico. And it is right - the restaurant is just about as close as you can get to the ocean. And it serves the most delicious food as well. 

We stopped off here, Keurboomstrand, on our way from Port Elizabeth to Plett. We had a great lunch and had hoped for a walk along the most idyllic beach ever. That was not to be - high tide, mist, and the odd spot of rain put paid to walking far. It is still a lovely beach and at least I could take a photo without another person around. 

The rain didn't last long and we were soon at our usual accommodation in Plettenberg Bay. Sadly, not in the huge luxury apartment we have in the past indulged in, but  we are quite happy for a couple of nights in a lovely self-contained garden suite.
