Fairies wear Boots

evening all,

The Boot's folly in Sheffield, built by the Charles Boot family ( i think) and not a early as you might imagine, 1930s or so i seem to remember.

You used to be able to walk in and out of it and climb to the high point of the tower, sadly you can't due that anymore as the entrance has been bricked up.

Bizarrely, it wasn't because of an accident to a human, but a cow wandered in, walked to the top of the stairs and couldn't get back down,
this started to occur on a regular basis,

so , to prevent depressed and suicidal cows from using it to dive bomb wandering sheep in a murder suicide scenario, the owners blocked off the entrance...
