Muircot kale

a bit of a dull day with a sharp, biting wind and yet more snow forecast.  had a delicious warm bowl of courgette and kale soup at Muircot, a local farm shop and cafe.  Muircot is in a converted barn which has fabulous views of the Ochils - in all weathers!  As I was leaving I spotted the Muircot kale beds.  These plants are tough as nails and keep on cropping through snow, ice, hail and hurricane.  They also make very good soup.
