Portrait
My very good friend Mark was up visiting from London. He is a proper photographer type person with expensive cameras and his own website and everything.
He helped me out a little bit by talking about lighting, apertures, ISO's while Mrs B's eyes glazed over. I tried my best at a portrait.
He studies theology down in London, so we chatted Karl Barth, Rob Bell and medieval notions of atonement in the pub over a pint. As you do.
My attempts at Jamie's 15 minute meals continue. And again it was chaotic. I took a casserole dish out the oven and put it on a glass place-mat. In the mad panic of cooking I later picked it up with my bare hands, promptly dropped it yelling, and the glass place-mat shattered into many, many tiny pieces that flew all across the kitchen and covered the floor.
Everyone laughed. Jamie still looked smug on the cover.
