Hey presto!
“Simple, fresh and wholesome food. Not your average fish cafe but a pure delight. speedy and friendly service with a good range of choice . I love this place. Don’t pass by – you will be pleasantly surprised.”
Slunk across the Ferrytoll Crossing in the dark, back to a cold house. Fire lit, work begins. High point of the day: fixing Nick & Helen’s washing machine by cunningly removing hairpins from drain pump.
Then into Edinburgh to equip Angus with YAMP (Yet Another Mobile Phone). Phone 99p, plus worthless £10 SIM card. Then we went to the City Restaurant for posh fish supper. We even had to queue for a table. Still, we got mushy peas, tartare sauce, a lemon, and tea in a pot! Fish was good too.
Back home, stoke fire, another call, hot chocolate, bed.
