Pegasus Bridge

Got the angry clouds today! We were a bit early for the ferry so called in to look at this famous bridge. I've often called in before but still find it impressive. The British 6th Airborne Division landed here by glider on the night of the 5th June 1944 spearheading the D Day invasion.

The bridge is actually a replacement but the original is still in a nearby museum.
