Place du Mercadial

I have blipped this old square in Saint Céré before, but it looked too cute and too empty of people for me to resist photographing it again tonight. We had one of those days when you start to do one thing and end up with a whole set of dominos falling into place. It began with placing a new rug in the living room.  Then we wondered if the one that we lifted would look nice  on the big landing.  It did. We then moved another similar rug from the study to join it, perfect. Fully in the mood now, we thought, wouldn't the rug from the dining room look good in the main bedroom, if we teamed it with the one from the guest room.  It did, and the one lifted from the landing duly went downstairs to replace it.  Oh, what about the one in front of the wood burner, it would complete the set in the bedroom.  It did.  Only trouble now was that the curtains and duvet cover clashed with the new bedroom rugs. There was much head scratching over lunch, but the answer turned out to be simple, swap the curtains and window seat cushions from the landing with the ones from the bedroom.  Perfect, time for a rest, well not quite. We brought over a small rug for the guest room, which now looks good in the study, so the last piece was the one lifted from the master bedroom, which is now in the guest room.  Hope you followed all that!  After a well earned rest, we set off for Saint Céré, a nice walk around the town and a Blip opportunity.  Extra is the other end of the square, with a bit of post production work
