Happy Robin

We had the men arrive today to replace the decking which was destroyed by the fallen tree,last September.So all the bird feeders had to be taken down to give the men the room to manhandle all the timber.
  The birds were most displeased!!!
But each time the men took a break for lunch or tea.The birds were straight down looking for food.
   Once the old deck was taken up.The Robins were there in no time.This one sat on the fence among the brambles looking for any sign of movement in the newly bared earth.At one time there were 4 Robins there.They were later joined by a couple of Blackbirds too.All having a nice meal of worms and grubs?
 I never realised they had such wonderful brown eyes! Just like the Dunnock?
