Lunar tics

We're having a super Blue Moon thing this evening; I think it's just a way of making a Wednesday in January interesting. I'm sure that you all know that a Blue Moon is the second full moon in a calendar month. This one is super because it coincides with something else and I really cannot be faffed going to check what it is - possibly the distillation of the apogee and the perigee with a side order of filigree. In some parts of the world there is also a lunar eclipse but we decided against that here because there is only so much excitement we can take in one day. 

Not happy about the outline of the moon here - not as crisp as I'd like but I liked the detail and the colours
