Royal Lancaster Infirmary

Today's the day ............................ to go to hospital

Poor Tim has been in the Centenary Building of the Royal Lancaster Infirmary since the early hours of this morning.

An infection in his arm became increasingly worse till there was nothing for it but to take him by ambulance to the A&E Department in Lancaster.  They've been doing all they can there ever since to get him on the road to recovery, but he's likely to be there for a few days - and that's where we went to visit him this evening.

Hopefully, a good night's sleep (and the intravenous anti-biotics) will work wonders - and he'll be a new man by the time we see him next ...................... 

PS  I've just noticed that I blipped him on this day three years ago.  He looked much happier then!
